ISO 27001
ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard in the field of information security. With ISO 27001 certification we show that we meet all requirements regarding information security. With effect from the General Regulation on Personal Data (or GDPR) in Europe, the rules on data protection will be tightened. As an organization, this means that you need to have your information security management system in order. A data breach of personal data not only has strong financial consequences, it also affects your reputation.
ISAE 3402 type II
There are two types of ISAE 3402 reports; a type I report and a type II report. Both types of reports are the same in terms of content. The difference is determined by the check performed; for a type I audit, the auditor determines whether the risk management framework and the control measures cover the standards framework (set-up) and exist at one specific moment. To determine this, the accountant ‘goes through’ processes (line checks). For a type II audit, the auditor determines during a period of at least six months whether the control measures have actually worked. A type I report therefore relates to one measurement moment and a type II report relates to a minimum of six months.
GDPR personal data
Deze verordening geeft aan dat een persoonsgegeven alle informatie is over een geïdentificeerde of identificeerbare natuurlijke persoon. Dit betekent dat informatie ofwel direct over iemand gaat, ofwel naar deze persoon te herleiden is. Gegevens van overleden personen of van organisaties zijn geen persoonsgegevens volgens de AVG.
Voorbeelden van persoonsgegevens
Er zijn veel soorten persoonsgegevens. Voor de hand liggende gegevens zijn iemands naam, adres en woonplaats. Maar ook telefoonnummers en postcodes met huisnummers zijn persoonsgegevens. Gevoelige gegevens als iemands ras, godsdienst of gezondheid worden bijzondere persoonsgegevens genoemd. Deze zijn door de wetgever extra beschermd.
