Therapeutic coaching
Professional guidance by a psychologist for complex issues

When is therapeutic coaching valuable?
This form of coaching is suitable for employees who:
– get stuck in persistent behavioural patterns or show intense emotional reactions
– suffer from concentration problems, irritability or insomnia
– feel ‘no longer in control’
– struggle with identity questions or meaning problems
– experience recurring conflicts or communication problems
– are at risk of absence, but are not yet in treatment within mental healthcare
Timely coaching with a psychologist prevents worsening of complaints and contributes to faster recovery and sustainable employability.
How does therapeutic coaching work?
A coach-psychologist combines psychological expertise with coaching skills. Together with the employee, work is done on recognising and breaking through limiting thinking and behavioural patterns. The sessions are more intensive and deeper than regular coaching – always aligned with the help question and the work context.
Employees get practical tools and more insight into themselves. On average, a journey consists of 6 to 8 conversations of 1.5 hours – as short as possible, as long as necessary.

From practice
“After a number of sessions, I had control over my situation again and could take up my work more effectively. My coach-psychologist helped me understand which patterns were holding me back.”
